Join the South Alabama’s department of speech pathology and audiology for a music oriented therapy event. Baby beats has been shown to increase vocalization, attention, and anticipation of auditory activities in babies and young toddlers.
Parents involved in the program have reported increased confidence in playing with their baby, singing, and moving. The program is designed to help promote parent/child bonding both pre- and post- amplification and is also designed to promote linguistic skills, musical memory, and attention by using a music and movement program.
This event will be geared towards children under 3 years of age with hearing loss. It will take place at the department of speech pathology and audiology, (1119 HAHN 5721 USA Drive North Mobile, AL 36688) on January 23 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
