Cocktails with the Critters

The Dauphin Island Sea Lab strives to serve as one of the premiere marine resource centers in the nation through its mission of wise stewardship, cutting edge research and education about our fragile coastal environment. The Dauphin Island Sea Lab Foundation (DISLF) was established to ensure that the Sea Lab achieves these important goals.

The Foundation raises funds by hosting two annual events, entitled Cocktails with the Critters and the ever-popular Cocktails with the Critters Virtual Auction. This year’s cocktail party will be held Thursday, May 4, 2023, from 6 to 9 p.m. at The BLUEGILL on the Causeway. The Virtual Online Auction will be the week of Wednesday, April 26, 2023 – Wednesday, May 3, 2023. The Foundation would greatly appreciate your support.

We hope that you will agree to be a part of this worthwhile event.  A portion of the proceeds raised this year will be used to fund undergraduate student scholarships, a full scholarship for the Marine Science Course offered to high school students and other projects at the Sea Lab.
