DAUPHIN WAY UMC TO HOST NOTED HISTORICAL THEOLOGIAN DR. PAUL CHILCOTE

The Dill Lecture Committee of Dauphin Way United Methodist Church is pleased to announce that noted scholar, author, preacher, and teacher Dr. Paul W. Chilcote will be the speaker for the Stephen and Ruth Dill Lecture Series on October 20.  He will deliver the sermon at the 10:30 a.m. worship service and present a lecture at 5:30 p.m.   Dr. Chilcote is a Research Fellow at Wesley House, Cambridge, England, and has been involved in theological education for four decades on three continents.  Further, he has enjoyed a special relationship with Mount Angel Abbey in Oregon as a Benedictine Oblate for twenty-five years.  A third-generation United Methodist minister, Dr. Chilcote is a frequent speaker and workshop leader across the country and has taught at several seminaries, including Duke Divinity School. 

Author of over thirty books, including Multiplying Love, Cultivating Christlikeness, and, most recently, The Fullest Possible Love:  Living in Harmony with God and Neighbor.
