Stokes Center Hosts A Free Concert by Josh Ritter. Thursday, March 7^th, 7:30 at the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center (Mainstage Theatre) University of South Alabama. Hailed by Paste Magazine as one of the “100 Greatest Living Songwriters,” Josh Ritter has released nine full-length studio albums and is author of The New York Times bestseller, Bright’s Passage, a novel set in Appalachia after WWI. This concert and reading is co-sponsored by the Independent Music Collective, Phi Kappa Phi, the English Department, and the USA Department of Theatre and Dance.
