FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — Mobile-based chain Shoe Station will be continuing an annual tradition with its Annex Sale, opening to the public on Friday, September 27, 2019. This year, the pop-up location will be at Springdale Mall in the old Staples building in Mobile, AL near I-65. Also located in this Airport Boulevard shopping mall is a regular Shoe Station location.
In previous years, customers have lined up outside of Annex Sales each morning, waiting for famous footwear and accessory brands for the entire family at low prices.
“We are throwing this Annex Sale to make room for new merchandise in other locations,” stated Shoe Station President and CEO Brent Barkin. “Shoe Station is thanking members of our new Loyalty Program with a sneak preview of the sale. Consumers can sign up for the complimentary Loyalty Program at any brick-and-mortar Shoe Station location. Shoppers who have signed up through our APP and other venues will also be notified.”
When asked how the independently-owned retail chain can sell each of the thousands of name-brand items at a profit, Barkin stated, “We will lose money on most items by selling them for less than what we paid. But that’s just part of being a retail chain. Our loss is the customers’ gain. This Annex Sale will enable us to move ahead into the new season.”
The Annex Sale will include famous brand women’s shoes for $14.97 and women’s boots for $19.97. Children’s casual and dress shoes will be $9.97, and children’s athletic shoes will be $14.97.
The Annex Sale will include a Premium Area featuring premium brands at bargain prices, ranging from $29.96 – $49.96. Luxury brands include OTBT, Steve Madden, Alegria, and Sam Edelman.
Adult’s athletic shoes will be priced $29.96 – $49.96, as will men’s shoes and sandals.
There will be thousands of $9.97 T-shirts and many value-priced accessories.
