Broadway veteran Joel Vig brings the world premiere of “Truman Talks Nelle Harper Lee,” his one-man play, to the historic Monroe County Courthouse Museum in Monroeville Sept. 27-29.  Vig portrays Truman Capote, who has come home to Monroeville for a fictional surprise birthday party for his friend Harper Lee, author of To Kill A Mockingbird. As the audience awaits her arrival, he shares stories of their lifelong friendship. Performances are Friday and Saturday, Sept. 27-28 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 29 at 2 p.m.   Tickets are $40 adult, $30 museum member and $15 student, and include a post-play reception with the star. Sunday tickets are $30 adult, $25 museum member, $15 student. Tickets are available by calling Monroe County Museum at 251-575-7433.  Seating is limited, so advance tickets are advised.
