Caroline and Simms’ wedding day paid homage to the bride and groom, both as individuals and as a couple. The bride grew up in Fairhope and the groom was raised in Mobile, with both spending countless summers on the Bay before they ever met. Once they started dating, being near the water always felt like home and many moments of their relationship were spent on the coast.
A springtime party by the water was the perfect backdrop for their wedding festivities. After exchanging vows at the wedding Mass at Christ the King Catholic Church surrounded by their loved ones, the newlyweds and all in attendance gathered at the Steelwood Country Club reception.
As the sun began to set over the lake during the couple’s cocktail hour, a golden glow covered the reception filled with laughter, dancing and unforgettable moments. After dark, a surprise fireworks show lit up the sky with color, reflecting off the water and providing the perfect end to a perfect day, which brought the newlyweds joy, love and deep gratitude for each other and everyone who came to celebrate.
