Classical Ballet of Mobile’s SUMMER INTENSIVE I

Ballet students age 8 have a unique opportunity to hone their technical skills in our first of two SUMMER INTENSIVES from Classical Ballet of Mobile. Beyond the fundamentals of classical technique, this “intensive” summer session helps discipline dancers in the artistry of ballet with emphasis on pointework, petite and grande allegro, as well as musical theatre dance, conditioning, choreography, improvisation and more.

Stretch your skills with us June 6-10 from 12:00-5:00 p.m. at our studios in Spring Hill. Summer Intensives are $300 for the week.

Beyond the fundamentals of classical technique, this “intensive” summer session helps discipline dancers in the artistry of ballet with emphasis on pointework, petite and grande allegro, as well as musical theatre dance, conditioning, choreography, improvisation and more.

The lights of Broadway are hitting Spring Hill with Summer Adult Classes at Classical Ballet of Mobile. Musical Theatre dance classes for adults are fun fitness opportunities for those who love classic show tunes.

Classical Ballet of Mobile’s BALLERINA PRINCESS CAMP I: Beach Bash

Beautiful ballerinas age 3-7 are invited to Week 1 of three Classical Ballet of Mobile princess camps.

Our first camp’s theme is a Hawaiian Princess “Beach Bash”. Our little luau dancers will enjoy ballet classes, stretching, crafts, games, snacks – and parents can join us in studio for a mini-performance on Friday!

4th Annual Jazz & Cocktails: Rx for a Cause

Come and enjoy jazz music from local artists – The Swing Band, Gino Rosaria: The Pianist, and The Excelsior Band, along with delicious food and desserts, cocktails, a silent auction, raffle, and wine pull! Independence Day Street Party

Happy Birthday, USA! Join us as we celebrate with red, white and FUN. There will be family friendly activities in the Entertainment District including a bubble zone, bounce houses, surf simulator, face painting ($10), camel rides ($5), rock wall, battle zone, DJ Silky spinning dancing tunes, special appearances by Lady Liberty, Uncle Sam more. Robert Holm, USA Piano Camp Faculty Recital

Dr. Robert Holm will perform in a USA Piano Camp Faculty Recital on Monday, June 20 at 3:00 p.m. in the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center Recital Hall. The emphasis of this year’s piano camp is the music of Franz Liszt and other piano virtuosi, hence Dr. Holm’s program will feature representative virtuosic literature.

Tickets for this Department of Music event will be sold at the door only. General admission is $5 for all attendees other than Piano Camp participants, cash or check only. (Participants are admitted free.)  Musical Arts Concert Series passes will be honored for these concerts.
