Jeanie and Cameron exchanged vows on a beautiful October day in Point Clear. The weekend began with a meaningful ceremony at Sacred Heart Chapel, a venue that holds significant family history as the site of six Torbert cousin weddings.
A reception followed at the bride’s parents’ home, a location that was originally her grandparents’ house and a lifelong dream reception venue of the bride. The night was a high-energy affair, with live music, fun foam hats and appearances by the couple’s beloved dog. The celebration had a touch of local flair, narrowly avoiding an Alabama football overtime crisis that would have delayed the party. The bride wore an antique blue, sapphire Bee brooch on the back of her dress as her “Something Blue,” a secret, loving tribute to her grandmother, whose nickname was “Bee.” The night’s energy flowed outside as the couple made their exit to their awaiting getaway car.
