April 12, 2025 // Ceremony at All Saints Episcopal Church, Reception at the Historic Oakleigh House Museum
Laura Hampton and Frank were married on an idyllic April afternoon. The couple shared breakfast together that morning, reserving a peaceful moment to themselves before the day began. They then met to dig up a bottle of bourbon they buried in secret for good luck and good weather. It appeared to work, as sun shone through the windows to All Saints Episcopal Church as the ceremony began, co-officiated by the same Reverend that married the groom’s parents.
After the ceremony, the guests paraded down the street to The Historic Oakleigh House Museum, with the newlyweds making an entrance into the reception escorted in by Blow House Brass Band. The reception space was full of light and laughter as all enjoyed food, drinks and dancing into the evening.
