Family and friends gathered from near and far to celebrate Lisee and Garrett’s wedding on a warm and bright day in June. The sun shone through the windows in Dauphin Way United Methodist Church as the bride walked down the aisle, wearing a wedding dress originally worn by her grandmother and namesake; the bride’s aunts and mother also wore the dress on their wedding days, making Lisee the sixth in her family to don the dress on her special day.
After the ceremony, all gathered at the Country Club of Mobile for a reception that paid homage to the couple’s relationship throughout the years. The groom’s cake, which showcased the groom’s love of golf, snowboarding, Sewanee and Florida Gators, and the wedding cake were both enjoyed by guests as dancing and music stretched into the night.
