LAFAYETTE BURGER AT THE BLIND MULE
“Although Mobtown Burger Week ended in October, and the sweet home avocado burger was fantastic, my absolute favorite burger from The Blind Mule is their classic Lafayette burger, which fortunately is on their regular menu year-round. A half-pound patty carries the bacon, bleu cheese crumbles, red onion and tomatoes. The crumbles and bacon add a flavor I can’t even describe, and no, you don’t have to be a bleu-cheese lover to enjoy this burger. Trust me!” – Mary Frances Clarke, Director of Development, Fuse Project

NEW YORK CHICKEN AT SAGE LEBANESE CUISINE & CAFE
“The Mediterranean and Lebanese-inspired food at Sage is fresh and delicious. My favorite is the New York chicken. The seasoned chicken is grilled and served over yellow rice with salad and Greek yogurt dressing. I enjoy the spicy (but not too spicy) taste. It is just a different take on our traditional Southern comfort food. I love it.” – Lisa White, Owner, CK Collection

VEGETARIAN CHEF’S PLATTER AT 7 SPICE
“One of my favorite restaurants in Mobile, 7 Spice is tucked cozily at the back of its sister grocery store on Airport Boulevard. Their vegetarian chef’s platter is one of my absolute favorite dishes anywhere. It’s heaped with their unmatched hummus, savory grape leaves, baba ganouj, tabouleh and spinach pie, plus falafel, feta, olives and amazing pita bread. I order it with a side of fries and starter bowls of both the lentil and carrot soups. More than enough to enjoy and take home for later!” – Sean Dudley, Musician, actor and attorney

SEARED SALMON BELLY NIGIRI AT RAYZA’S RESTAURANT
“There are some really unique offerings at Rayza’s, but my favorite has to be the seared salmon belly nigiri. Chef Rayza takes a beautiful piece of fatty salmon belly and lays it over perfectly cooked sushi rice. He could stop there and it would still be delicious. Instead, he torches it to add a little char and a smoky flavor. He then finishes it off with just the right amount of sea salt to bring all the flavors together. The result is simply amazing.” – Chace Yamagata, Founder, Baldwin County Foodies Realtor, Salt Coast Realty
