October 5, 2024 // Ceremony at St. Joseph Chapel, Reception at Byrne Memorial Hall
Hanna and Justin’s wedding day was a celebration of history, family and the love that brought them together. The couple blended the bride’s Chinese-American adoptee background and the groom’s Filipino heritage, with the wedding themed around the ancient Chinese tradition of the red thread of fate that ties people together.
Guests gathered at St. Joseph’s Chapel to witness the ceremony, which featured the groomsmen in Filipino barongs. The bride’s father, who was unable to attend due to health, was included through a video call, adding a layer of emotion and extra love to the day.
After the vows, guests and the newlyweds continued to Byrne Memorial Hall. At the reception, the bride and groom performed the Tinikling, a customary dance in the Philippines, and enjoyed the rest of the night surrounded by joy, laughter and the warmth of their loved ones.
