Head to Bellingrath Gardens for an elegant evening at the Magic Christmas in Lights Preview on Sunday, November 24, to celebrate the 24th season of the premier holiday light show on the Gulf Coast.
The Magic Christmas in Lights Preview will include heavy hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and musical entertainment.
The Preview is a fundraiser for the Bellingrath Gardens and Home Foundation, a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization created in 2004 to assist with Gardens enhancements, special events, educational programs and capital projects.
All proceeds from the Magic Christmas in Lights Preview will be used for improvements and enhancements to Bellingrath Gardens and Home, the state’s oldest public garden and one of Alabama’s major tourist sites.
For nearly a quarter century, the staff at Bellingrath Gardens and Home has designed, built and maintained Magic Christmas in Lights, a display that features more than 1,100 set pieces, 3 million lights and 15 scenes throughout the 65-acre Garden estate. The show has become a Gulf Coast holiday tradition, and has gained national recognition as one of the country’s best family Christmas events.
