With the ever-increasing prices of just about everything, Champagne is not immune. We’ve set our sights on smaller producers that may not have the pedigree of some other larger Champagne houses, but they have all of the finesse and charm. The Champagne house of Andre Clouet was established in 1741, which has given them ample time to perfect their craft. The complexity suggests a higher price, but at $40, we are happy to drink this often.

Paula Kornell Brut, California
Second-generation Napa winemaker Paula Kornell is carrying on her father’s legacy with knockout California sparkling wines. Kornell wines only use the traditional Champagne method. A great everyday sparkler, this one is light on its feet, being mostly Chardonnay with some added complexity from Pinot Noir. An entry-level wine at $19 that drinks like a much more expensive Champagne.
