What: A weekend of expertly guided birding trips, kayak tours, sunset cruises, an adventure to alligator alley, birding and photo workshops and other activities
How much? Individual activities range from $15 – $70. Total cost depends on number of activities selected.
4. Alabama Festival of Flavor

What: Sample beer, wine and various food items from local food trucks and world renowned chefs
How much? $10 for 12 tastes, $20 for 26 tastes, and $30 for 38 tastes at any booth (Kid tickets are $5 for 6 samples)
5. Wine Fest

Where: Mobile Botanical Gardens
What: Sample food and wine from local restaurants and caterers and enjoy live music by the Jim Roebuck Jazz Trio at this fundraiser benefiting Catholic Social Services

6. Greek Fest
When: October 13 – 15, 2016
Where: Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church
What: Live Greek music, a local marketplace, performances by Hellenic Dancers and authentic Greek food, drinks and desserts
How much? Admission is $2 per person. Advanced tickets (including admission, adult meal and dessert) are $24.
7. National Shrimp Festival
When: October 13 – 16, 2016
Where: Gulf Shores
What: Arts, crafts, shopping, live music and some of the tastiest shrimp creations the Gulf Coast has to offer
How much? Admission is free. Food, beverages and other items are available for purchase.
8. Frank Brown International Songwriters’ Festival
When: November 3 – 13, 2016
Where: Various locations along the Gulf Coast
What: More than 200 nationally acclaimed songwriters and up-and-coming stars come into the spotlight to perform original music in 30 venues along the Alabama/Florida coast
How much? Most venues are free attend, but a few charge a small cover at the door.
9. Fairhope Film Festival
When: November 10 – 13, 2016
Where: Downtown Fairhope
What: A film lover’s festival, offering participants the opportunity to see award-winning films at various venues over a four-day period. Directors, actors and screenwriters will participate in the screenings both in person and via live electronic transmission.
How much? $40 for a 4-pack film pass and $75 for an 8-pack film pass
10. Mobile International Festival
When: November 19, 2016
Where: Mobile Civic Center
What: A celebration of cultures from all across the globe including food, art, music, crafts and entertainment from drummers, dancers, acrobats and more
How much? $12 for adults. Children 12 and under are free with a ticketed adult.
