Starring Mobile native William Green as the director of the show which profiles 16 eccentric performers auditioning for a production, it's sure to be “One Singular Sensation!” Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for students.
April 18: Taste of Rotary

6 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. Indulge in cold beverages and tasty creations from area restaurants at the Point Clear Rotary Club’s premier fundraiser benefiting the Fairhope/Point Clear Rotary Youth Club and the Salvation Army. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased from Point Clear Rotary Club members or at the door.
April 18: Crawfish in the Courtyard
Gulf Coast Exploreum Science Center • 65 Government St.
6 p.m. Don't miss out on an evening of all-you-can-eat crawfish, beer, a silent auction and live music by Ryan Balthrop. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. All event proceeds will benefit Discover Science, the Exploreum's program with the Mobile Housing Board to provide underserved children engaging educational science experiences. Note: This event is 21 and up only.

10 a.m. Celebrate the beauty of our local landscape with environmental activities and displays, a variety of interactive educational opportunities for children and adults and an exciting lineup of live music. Admission is free.
April 22: Bald Eagle Bash
Tonsmeire Weeks Bay Resource Center • Fairhope
4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Top local chefs will showcase their culinary twists on fresh Gulf seafood at this benefit for the Weeks Bay Foundation. Chow down on delicious seafood dishes and enjoy live music from The Mulligan Brothers. Tickets are $40 in advance and $45 at the gate. Kids 10 and under are free.
April 27: Serve It Up with Love
Copeland-Cox Tennis Center • 851 Gaillard Dr.
9 a.m., ladies; 4 p.m., juniors; 6 p.m., men. Hit the court ready to raise funds for the Mobile Child Advocacy Center. The Ladies Tournament is played in a team format with four courts of doubles. Sign up as a team of 8 – 10 players. The Men’s Tournament is played in a combo team format with three courts of doubles. Sign up as a team of 6 – 8 players. The Junior's Tournament is a boys and girls singles event. The play is an Eight Game Pro Set with no ad scoring. Cost for each tournament is $35 per player and includes breakfast, lunch, a goody bag and favor.
April 28 – 30: Interstate Mullet Toss

Noon, Fri.; 10 a.m., Sat. & Sun. People from all over the globe come to throw a mullet from a 10-foot circle in Alabama across the state line into Florida. There is a $15 entry fee to toss a mullet, and winners will receive prizes such as trophies and Flora-Bama gift certificates. The weekend also includes a crazy beach party with food, music and lots of fun activities.
April 29: Dirty Dogs Dog Wash
Callaghan's Irish Social Club • 916 Charleston St.
2 p.m. – 4 p.m. Bring your dirty dogs down to Callaghan's for a dog wash fundraiser benefiting Delta Dogs. For a $10 tax deductible donation, your pooch will get a bath courtesy of the Delta Dogs volunteers and you can enjoy a free beer thanks to Budweiser-Busch Distributing and the Fairhope Brewing Company. Nail trims and light grooming will be available for donations too.
