December 1 & December 8: Fairhope Santa Saturday

10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. Santa Claus is coming to town for a visit. He will be in front of the museum and you don’t want to miss him. Parents may bring their cameras for pictures.

December 1: ESRT’s A Christmas Carol: The Musical 

The Steeple on St. Francis, 251 Saint Francis St
2 p.m. & 7 p.m. Eastern Shore Repertory Theatre will be performing an adaptation of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. Get into the Christmas spirit by joining Ebenezer Scrooge and the three ghosts as they dive into his past, present and future. Tickets are $25 – $150.

December 5: Babes in Toyland

Saenger Theater, 6 S Joachim St
7:30 p.m. The Playhouse in the Park is presenting the Victor Herbert Classic “Babes in Toyland” to the public for one night only. Tickets are $20.

December 6: Second Annual Wine & Wishes

The Ezell House, 407 Conti St
6:30 – 9:30 p.m. Laurel Flowers – State Farm Agent is hosting the second annual Wine & Wishes benefitting local children battling life-threatening medical conditions raising funds to grant them wishes. Put on your best cocktail attire and enjoy the open wine bar and heavy hors-d’oeouvres.

December 7 – 16 Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley

Chickasaw Civic Theatre, 801 Iroquois St
7:30 p.m. F/Sa. 2 p.m. Su. Chickasaw Civic Theatre is putting a spin on a seasonal sequel to Jane Austen’s classic “Pride and Prejudice” come follow along as middle sister Mary find herself in a romantic comedy.

December 8: The 0.5K Pub “Run”

Moe’s BBQ, Downtown Mobile, 701 Spring Hill Ave
10:30 a.m. A “run” for the rest of us! Runners get beer along the route for an energy boost and coffee and a sweet treat at the halfway point – a 0.5K can be tough! Local bands will be set up along the way to keep you motivated too.

December 15 & 16: Mobile Ballet Presents “The Nutcracker”

Mobile Ballet celebrates its 31st year with a fresh take on the beloved Christmas classic – combining new choreography from Artistic Director Katia Garza along with the treasured music of Tchaikovsky.

December 22: 17th Annual Santa Run

Carpe Diem, 4072 Old Shell Rd.
10:00 a.m. The Santa Run is an annual 2 mile fun-run, walk, bike ride, dog walking, fun-for-the-whole-family charity event. Holiday themed costumes are encouraged! Awards will be given for the best individual and best group costumes. Door prizes will be awarded. The Post-Race Party includes holiday music, coffee, hot chocolate, Gatorade, cookies, & more!

Through December 31: Magic Christmas in Lights at Bellingrath Gardens and Home

Bellingrath Gardens & Home, 12401 Bellingrath Gardens Rd
5 – 10 p.m. Locals and visitors anticipate Bellingrath Gardens and Homes seasonal Magic Christmas in Lights each year. December 31: City of Fairhope New Year’s Eve Celebration

City of Fairhope
8:30 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. The City of Fairhope invites residents and visitors to ring in 2019 in the streets of downtown Fairhope. There will be entertainment, face painting, fireworks and a ball drop at midnight.
