June 1 – 4: Flora-Bama Fishing Rodeo

Flora-Bama Yacht Club • 17350 Perdido Key Dr.

From catfish to billfish and everything in between, this “Every Man's” fishing rodeo is designed for anglers who like to have a good time. Anglers will compete for first, second and third place in 40 categories including red snapper. Accompanying the tournament will be a three-day beach party and awards ceremony that will include daily weigh-ins with fish viewing area, live music and food. Tickets are $45 for adults, $25 for kids.

June 2: North Baldwin Chamber Crawfish Bash

Blackburn Park • Bay Minette

​5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Kick off summer with hot crawfish, cold beverages, lazer tag, corn hole, live music from This Side of 49 and fun for the whole family. Tickets are $20. Kids ages 10 and under are $5 with a paying adult. 

June 2 – 18: Rock of Ages

8 p.m. Fri. – Sat.; 2 p.m. Sun. Celebrate all things 1980s with this musical about trying to make it big in the music scene. The smash Broadway hit, set in LA’s infamous Sunset Strip in 1987, tells the story of Drew, a boy from South Detroit and Sherrie, a small town girl, both in LA to chase their dreams of making it big and falling in love. Tickets range from $10 – $20. 

June 3: Grandman Triathlon

Fairhope Municipal Pier

7 a.m. Ready for a full-body workout? The Grandman race begins with a 1/3-mile swim in Mobile Bay, followed by an 18-mile bike ride through Fairhope and a 3.1-mile race to the finish line. Cost is $105. Proceeds benefit Mobile Baykeeper, Delta Bike Project and myTeam Triumph: Southern Alabama. 

June 3: Duel on Dauphin

Hayley's Bar • 278 Dauphin St.

2 p.m. – 6 p.m. Sample delicious crawfish at Hayley's, Loda Bier Garten, Brickyard and Alchemy Tavern at the 8th annual Duel on Dauphin. Admission is $10 or 10 non-perishable food items. Proceeds benefit Feeding the Gulf Coast.

June 4: Explore Mobile

Downtown Mobile

2 p.m. – 7 p.m. In conjunction with the Alabama Bicentennial Celebration, the city of Mobile’s tourist attractions will unite in celebration with an afternoon of food, music and free admission. Attendees will be able to explore 300 years of local history inside the History Museum of Mobile, experience Colonial life inside the walls of the Colonial Fort of Mobile, tour the impressive GulfQuest museum and much more!

June 6: Jimmy Buffett & The Coral Reefer Band

The Amphitheater at The Wharf • Orange Beach

8 p.m. Break out the flip-flops and Hawaiian shirts as the hometown musician performs “Margaritaville” and “Cheeseburger in Paradise.” Tickets range from $91 – $326.

June 10: Dragon Boat Festival

USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park • 2703 Battleship Pkwy

8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Whether you attend as a spectator or sportsman, partake in a modern version of the Chinese water sport as teams of 21 race in authentic 46-foot long Hong Kong style dragon boats. There will also be food trucks, fashion trucks, a petting zoo, pony rides and much more. Admission is $5 and proceeds benefit local children through the work of the Fuse Project.

June 10: Kyser Miree Memorial Fishing Tournament

The Wharf • 4830 Main St., Orange Beach.

Anglers will vie for first, second and third place prizes in the categories of red snapper, king mackerel, speckled trout and slot redfish. Proceeds from the tournament benefit both a scholarship in Kyser’s name at the engineering college at Vanderbilt University and Rotaract’s on-going projects with Wilmer Hall Children’s Home and Collins-Rhodes Elementary School in Eight Mile. Tickets are $30 for adults and $20 for children. 

June 24: Dodgeball Tournament

O'Daly's Irish Pub • 564 Dauphin St.

3 p.m. Make-A-Wish Alabama is partnering with O'Dalys Irish Pub to host a day of dodgeball to benefit local children with life-threatening medical conditions. The tournament will be double-elimination with teams of 6-10 members (two females must be on the court at all times during each game). In addition to the tournament, there will be raffle prizes, live music and a silent auction. Cost is $25 per player. The winning team will receive free Chick-fil-A for a year!
