Mark your calendars with this month's top local events you won't want to miss.

Pick fresh blueberries and listen to live music at the Harvest Night Series this month at Weeks Bay Plantation.

June 1 – 3: Flora-Bama Fishing Rodeo

Flora-Bama Yacht Club

From catfish to billfish and everything in between, this “Every Man’s” fishing rodeo is designed for anglers who like to have a good time. Anglers will compete for first, second and third place in 40 categories including red snapper. Accompanying the tournament will be a three-day beach party and awards ceremony that will include daily weigh-ins with fish viewing area, live music and food. Tickets are $50 for adults, $25 for kids.

June 1 – 3, 8 – 10, 15 – 17: “Ragtime”

Joe Jefferson Players • 11 S Carlen St.

7:30 p.m. Fri. – Sat.; 2 p.m. Sun. Follow three diverse families as they pursue the American dream in turn-of-the-century New York. Tickets range from $10 – $20.

June 2: Publix Grandman Triathlon

Fairhope Municipal Pier

7 a.m. Ready for a full-body workout? The Grandman race begins with a 1/3-mile swim in Mobile Bay, followed by an 18.6-mile bike ride through Fairhope and a 3.1-mile race to the finish line. Cost is $105. Proceeds benefit Mobile Baykeeper, Delta Bike Project and myTeam Triumph: Southern Alabama.

June 2, 9, 16: Harvest Night Series

Weeks Bay Plantation • 12562 Mary Ann Beach Rd., Fairhope.

4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Pick fresh blueberries and listen to live music at this family-friendly event with food trucks, vendor market, kids activities and more. Admission is free for berry pickers, $5 for non-pickers.

June 3: Explore Mobile

Mardi Gras Park • Downtown Mobile

1 p.m. – 6 p.m. Celebrate Alabama’s bicentennial with live music, food and activities, as well as free/discounted admission to local tourist attractions.

June 7: Glow in the Park Movie Series

Fairhopers Community Park • 105 S Church St., Fairhope

8 p.m. Grab some blankets/lawn chairs and snacks and round up the family to watch the movie “Wonder” under the stars. Admission is free!

June 8: Crawfish Cook-off

Blackburn Park • Bay Minette

5:30 p.m. Kick off summer with hot crawfish, cold beverages, kids’ activities, live music from Ryan Balthrop and fun for the whole family. Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for kids 6 – 10 and free for children 5 and under.

June 9: Kyser Miree Memorial Fishing Tournament

Mobile Big Game Fishing Club • 27075 Marina Rd., Orange Beach

Anglers will vie for first, second and third place prizes in the categories of red snapper, king mackerel, speckled trout, flounder and slot redfish. All proceeds from the tournament benefit  Wilmer Hall. Tickets are $30 for adults and $20 for children.

June 9: Dragon Boat Festival

USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park • 2703 Battleship Pkwy

8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Whether you attend as a spectator or sportsman, partake in a modern version of the Chinese water sport as teams of 21 race in authentic 46-foot long Hong Kong style dragon boats. There will also be food trucks, fashion trucks, children’s activities and more. Admission is $5, and proceeds benefit local children through the work of the Fuse Project.

June 15: The Fab Four

Saenger Theatre • 6 S Joachim St.

7 p.m. doors open, 8 p.m. show starts. The best Beatles cover band ever performs their renditions of “Twist and Shout, ” “Here Comes the Sun, ” “Can’t Buy Me Love” and more. Tickets range from $22 – $52.
