6:30 p.m., doors open. See the latest fashion trends on stage at the Jaguar Land Rover Gulf Coast LBD Cocktail Party and Runway Show benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mobile. Fifty local-area “McModels” will be featured in the fast-paced New York styled runway show. Afterward, enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres from area chefs and restaurants. General admission tickets are $100.
May 4: Cocktails with the Critters

6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Feast on tasty hors d’oeuvres and cool beverages while listening to live music by Eric Erdman. There will also be a silent auction featuring local art, jewelry, home goods and more. Tickets are $50 in advance, $55 at the door. Proceeds benefit the Dauphin Island Sea Lab Foundation.
May 5: Alabama 200 Launch

6 p.m. – 8 p.m., Mardi Gras Park; 8 p.m. – 10 p.m., Cooper Riverside Park. Celebrate Alabama's bicentennial with free admission to the Museum of Mobile, Fort Conde and Mobile Carnival Museum as well as live music, fireworks and activities for the kids. Admission is free!
May 5 – 6: Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon Festival

Take a tethered ride or sit back and watch hot air balloons decorate the skies of Baldwin County. There will also be carnival rides, arts and crafts, live entertainment and a performance from the Disc-Connected K9's Frisbee Dog Show. General admission is free; tethered balloon rides range from $15 – $20.
May 6: 99 Bottles of Beer on the Lawn

1 p.m. – 4 p.m. The Eastern Shore's only craft beer festival features 99 beers to sample, food and live music. Tickets are $45.01, which includes admission, a sampling of all beers, tasting glass and a 6-pack of craft beer from the festival.
May 6: Sturgill Simpson
The Amphitheatre at The Wharf • Orange Beach
8 p.m. Check out Grammy-winning artist Sturgill Simpson perform live with special guest Margo Price. Tickets range from $23 – $43.

1 p.m. Treat mom to something special this year with the Mobile Youth Symphony Orchestra’s annual concert at Bellingrath Gardens. Bring lawn chairs and a picnic lunch to enjoy during the concert. Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase.
