May 3: Cocktails with the Critters

Bluegill Restaurant • 3775 Battleship Pkwy, Spanish Fort.

6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Feast on tasty hors d’oeuvres and cool beverages while listening to live music by Eric Erdman. There will also be a silent auction featuring local art, jewelry, home goods and more. Tickets are $50 in advance, $55 at the door.

May 4: Jerry Seinfeld

6 p.m., doors open; 7 p.m. show. The legendary stand-up comedian makes another stop in the Port City. Tickets range from $68 – $150.

May 4 – 5: Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon Festival

Foley Soccer Complex

Take a tethered ride or sit back and watch hot air balloons decorate the skies of Baldwin County. There will also be carnival rides, arts and crafts,  live entertainment and a performance from the Disc-Connected K9’s Frisbee Dog Show. General admission is free; tethered balloon rides range from $15 – $20.

May 5 – 6: Blessing of the Fleet

St. Margaret Catholic Church • Bayou La Batre

10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Partake in the beloved Bayou La Batre and Coden tradition celebrating life along the working waterfront. The event features a decorated boat parade, fleet blessing at the dock of St. Margaret’s Catholic Church, arts and crafts, a working waterfront exhibit, children’s activities, seafood dishes, Vietnamese cuisine, hamburgers, hot dogs and more.

May 12: Creek Fest

Tricentennial Park

10 a.m. – 2 p.m. This free family-friendly celebration includes a cane pole fishing tournament for ages 16 and under, live music, food, kayak rides, door prizes and educational exhibits.

May 12: Children’s Cup Regatta

Fairhope Yacht Club • 101 Volanta Ave., Fairhope.

9 a.m. – 9 p.m. Sailing enthusiast and friends are invited to enjoy a day of sailboat racing, kids activities, a silent auction, dinner and awards. Proceeds benefit patients from the Alabama Gulf Coast being treated at Children’s of Alabama. Adult entry: $50; Cruiser’s Crawl: $50; Kayak Races: $25; Youth Boat: $25; Rookie Race: $5; Spectators: Free

May 12: 99 Bottles of Beer on the Lawn

Southern Napa Fine Wine House • 2304 Main St., Daphne.

1 p.m. – 4 p.m. Don’t miss the Eastern Shore’s only craft beer festival with 99 beers to sample, live music and food. General admission is $35. Must be 21 to enter.

May 13: Mother’s Day Evening Garden Concert

Bellingrath Gardens and Home • 12401 Bellingrath Gardens Rd., Theodore.

5:30 p.m. Treat mom to something special this year with the Mobile Youth Symphony Orchestra’s annual concert at Bellingrath Gardens. Bring lawn chairs and a picnic supper to enjoy during the concert. Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase. Concert is included in the admission to the gardens.

May 18 – 20: Hangout Music Festival

Gulf Shores Beaches

Music lovers from all over the U.S. flock to the beach to see performances from some of the hottest musicians including Kendrick Lamar, The Chainsmokers, Halsey, The Killers, Zedd, Portugal: The Man, Cold War Kids, Alice Merton, Anderson East, The Struts, T-Pain and more. General admission tickets are $319.

May 27: Dave Matthews Band

The Amphitheater at The Wharf • Orange Beach

8 p.m. Sing along to all your Dave favorites at this summer concert. Tickets start at $85.
