November 3 – 4: Oyster Cook-off & Craft Beer Weekend

The Hangout • 101 E Beach Blvd., Gulf Shores.

Kick off a jam-packed cook-off weekend on Friday with the Craft Beer Festival featuring live music by Anderson East. Admission is $40 and includes samples of dozens of craft beers. On Saturday, enjoy chef demos and workshops and sample oysters from dozens of chefs and restaurants from across the country. Admission is $10. Kids 12 and under get in free. Tasting tickets are available for purchase to use in exchange for oysters. 

November 9: Boots & BBQ Barn Bash

Moe's Original Bar B Que • 701 Springhill Ave. 

6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. Enjoy a dinner of delicious barbecue and live music by David Shivers at this annual benefit for Children's of Alabama Pediatric Rheumatology Clinic in Mobile. Tickets are $40 per person.

Get a jump start on your Christmas shopping at the Junior League’s annual holiday market, featuring more than 100 merchants from across the country. General admission tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Special events throughout the weekend include a Preview Gala on Nov. 8, VIP Shopping on Nov. 9, Girls' Night Out on Nov. 10 and Santa's Workshop on Nov. 11. Special event times and prices vary.

Don't miss four days of brilliant, entertaining and award-winning films screened throughout downtown Fairhope. Tickets are $65 for a six-pack or $95 for a weekend pass. 

November 10 – January 1: Christmas Nights of Lights

5:30 p.m. – 10 p.m. Pack the car with friends and family and enjoy this 1.5-mile drive-thru Christmas light show featuring hundreds of thousands of lights synchronized to Christmas music. Cost is $6 per person. Children 3 and under are free.

November 16: Fairhope Tree Lighting Celebration

Downtown Fairhope

​5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Get into the holiday spirit at Fairhope's annual tree lighting celebration complete with Christmas carols, holiday music and a special visit from Mrs. Claus.

November 17: Lighting of the Trees in Bienville Square

Bienville Square • Downtown Mobile

5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Kick off the holiday season in downtown Mobile with the lighting of the trees, merry market, live music, Santa and more.

November 18: Bay Area Brunch Fest

Bienville Square • Downtown Mobile

Enjoy live jazz music, Bloody Marys, mimosas and delicious brunch dishes from local restaurants at this fundraiser benefiting Lifeline Counseling Services. General admission tickets, including entrance to the event and samplings from local restaurants, are $15 in advance and $25 on the day of the event. Ages 21 and up only!

November 18: Mobile International Festival

Mobile Civic Center • 401 Civic Center Dr.

10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Take in a variety of cultures from all across the globe with this annual celebration featuring food, art, music, crafts and entertainment from drummers, dancers, acrobats and more. Tickets are $12. Children 12 and under are free with a ticketed adult.

November 30: The Avett Brothers

Saenger Theatre • 6 S Joachim St.

7 p.m. doors open, 8 p.m. show. The eclectic band brings songs from their newest album “True Sadness” to the stage. Tickets range from $56 – $67.
