Mobile Bay Magazine’s 40 Under 40

Mobile Bay Magazine’s 40 Under 40 is an annual program designed to recognize the top individuals younger than age 40 who demonstrate leadership, professional excellence and a commitment to the Bay-area community. While most of the winners will be selected from the business and professional community, winners will also be picked from other areas, including the arts, medicine, education, community involvement and more.

Nomination Period

Nominations will be accepted August 1 – 31, 2025. Winners will be notified in September 2025 and announced publicly in January 2026.

  • Give a brief description of the nominee’s professional achievements. Suggestions: include recent significant business accomplishments, past distinctions or awards.
  • Tell us about the nominee’s level of expertise. Suggestions: include educational history and qualifications, professional memberships or designations, years of work in their field.
  • Tell us about the nominee’s community involvement. Suggestions: include positions on boards and involvement with charitable, community, religious and professional organizations, and include any distinctions and awards for community service.
  • Tell us about the nominee’s leadership abilities and experience. Suggestions: demonstrations of the nominee’s leadership and innovation, and how the nominee’s company or organization has grown or benefited due to his/her leadership.

    Supporting materials are allowed, but not required, to aid in the judging process. Please do not include more than 2 letters of support for your nominee. You may also include a copy of the nominee’s curriculum vitae.
