How We Met
We were set up together by a mutual friend in June of 2005. We officially started dating just a few weeks later and have been together ever since—seven years and counting!
How He Proposed
When he asked me what I wanted for Christmas, I suggested getting the ring he gave me on our one-year anniversary re-polished. On Christmas Eve, I could not wait to get the ring back and see how it looked. Behind the scenes, I had no idea he had purchased an engagement ring back in October and had been planning to propose on Christmas Eve. When we exchanged gifts, I ripped open the ring box only to find a completely different ring. I was completely shocked, but obviously said yes!Â
