How They Met
Dean and I met in Boston in 2021 while I was working my first travel nursing assignment. I was a travel nurse from Mobile, and Dean was an engineer originally from New York. After matching on Hinge, we decided to meet for lunch. What was supposed to be a quick lunch turned into four hours of conversation, and the rest is history! Our relationship took us from Boston to the Washington, D.C. area, where we have built our home.
How He Proposed
Dean proposed at Dumbarton Oaks, a beautiful historic garden in the heart of the Georgetown. What made the moment even more special was that my cousin, who is a wedding photographer, was hiding at the spot to capture it!
