Ceremony at St. Joseph Chapel
Reception at the Bragg-Mitchell Mansion
Caroline and Will’s wedding was a family-filled affair in the heart of Mobile. The bride wore a dress with a provincial story. She bought her dress from a previous bride whose wedding was called off. The previous bride’s original wedding date was set for May 16, 2014, so it felt like a sign for Caroline to wear it on her wedding day on May 16, 2026.
Guests filled St. Joseph Chapel as the bride and groom said their vows. Afterward, at Bragg-Mitchell Mansion, all enjoyed a cocktail hour before the newlyweds’ entrance and first dance. The reception featured odes to family, from the cake topper that belonged to the bride’s paternal grandparents to the toasting goblet that belonged to the bride’s maternal grandparents and has been used at all the McKinstry family weddings. Later, the groom, who DJs for fun, pulled off an exciting surprise, performing a house music DJ set that got everyone on the dance floor, dancing into the night.
