Ceremony at St. James Episcopal Church, reception at the bride’s aunt and uncle’s house
A sunny October Saturday provided the perfect backdrop for Anna-Majors and Palmer’s wedding day. The couple met in kindergarten and dated through high school and college, and the wedding date was also a celebration of almost nine years together. The happy tears began as the couple saw each other for the first time as the bride walked down the aisle at St. James Episcopal Church.
After the end of the heartfelt ceremony, the reception at the bride’s aunt and uncle’s house kicked off with an Alabama football win, a special moment for the University of Alabama newlywed alumni. Guests ate, danced and wore hats emblazoned with “Sweet Home Fairhope Alabama,” a fitting tribute to the couple’s hometown. At the end of the night, the new husband and wife exited through streamers to a golf cart fitted with a Miller Lite can trail and florals.
