We asked, and you certainly delivered. Our inaugural Waterlogged Dogs Photo Contest received hundreds of incredible, adorable entries! Scroll through some of our favorite soggy dogs below. Happy summer, pups!

Riley, Yellow Lab // Riley enjoys his first beach trip to the East End Beach on Dauphin Island.
Oscar, Bluetick Coonhound // Oscar is blind (no eyes, born with glaucoma) and loves being at the beach with his dog friends. In this photo, he’s following the lead of his friend Dexter running with joy through the shallow water on Dauphin Island.

Cheerio, Goldendoodle // Cheerio goes wherever her family goes, from cheering on the sidelines at the soccer field to tagging along for a quiet day of fishing by the bay. She loves the water!
Scout, Chesapeake Bay Retriever // Scout has been obsessed with the water since her first swim at Gravine Island on the Tensaw when she was six months old. She discovered waves as they lapped from nearby boaters. Now she stops when she hears the sound of a motor, anticipating the waves as they come to the shore.
Rosie, English Spring Spaniel // One-year-old Rosie isn’t afraid of a little mud from the Delta.

Leia, Golden Retriever // It doesn’t get better than a Golden at golden hour in Fairhope.

Mallie, Boykin Spaniel // Having lived by the water her entire life, the “Bayside Lifestyle” is something special to Mallie. “She traveled with me to St. Kitts for nearly three years while I completed veterinary school. She is one in a million, the best companion and most definitely a water dog,” says owner Megan Harwood.

Cooper, Labrador // Cool-dude Cooper enjoys time in his pool float in Magnolia Springs.

Samantha, Golden Retriever // A birth defect on the 2-year-old pup’s front right leg gives her a signature pose that makes her all the more special.

GiGi, Chihuahua // Standing atop a massive rock by the Bay, GiGi embodies the power and presence that all chihuahuas possess. GiGi passed away two years ago at the age of 10, but her grandiose presence is still felt.
