Grayson Gartman and Timothy Max Ethridge Jr. were married on April 22, 2017 in Fairhope. Given in marriage by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mark L. Gartman, Graysi was escorted down her aisle in the fields of Weeks Bay Plantation, in a custom Modern Trousseau lace gown paired with a lace-edged veil and gold Oscar De La Renta flower earrings. She wore her great-grandmother’s ring on her right hand and carried a family heirloom handkerchief embroidered with monograms of four generations — all in attendance.

Graysi’s bridesmaids were compiled from her most treasured friendships: Blakelyn Gartman, Jillian Baldwin, Leslie Browning, Laurie Costarides, Kyndel Edens, Sarah Austin Isbell, Erica Pennesi and Katie Wilkinson. Groomsmen were lifelong friends from TJ’s hometown, Collinsville, Miss.: Marshall Brown, Mark Godwin, Chad Harbour, Braxton Harrison, Andy Pippin and Kel Smith.
Guests arrived for a pre-nuptial champagne toast before being seated in a waterfront field for the ceremony and venturing to celebrate underneath the sprawling oaks. The night was full of special details. The delivery of Krispy Kreme doughnuts and Krystal’s sliders, as well as the surprise fireworks show arranged by Graysi’s parents, pushed the celebrations over the top. Upon leaving, guests created arrangements from a mini flower market as their favor. It was important to Graysi and TJ that the weekend not only celebrate their marriage, but serve loved ones with a message of love and gratitude while showcasing the area of Alabama they hold so dear.
