December 13, 2025 // Ceremony at Sacred Heart Chapel, Reception at Apiary
Ashley and Kenly were married on a mild and sunny December day in Point Clear. The bride and groom met while students at Auburn University, and friends and family traveled in from all over the country for the weekend. The evening ceremony at Sacred Heart Chapel was heartfelt, ending right at sunset as the bride’s younger cousins ran out to ring the bell on the property in celebration.
All headed to the Apiary for the reception, which featured details with deep personal meaning. The bride and groom cut their cake, decorated with the cake topper that the groom’s grandparents used at their wedding 60 years ago, and made their toast using a champagne bucket from the bride’s grandparent’s wedding day. The energy remained high late into the night, as those on the full dance floor were served Mr. Gene’s Beans’ Fairhope Floats. The night ended with a flower petal sendoff through downtown Fairhope, where the trees were lit for the holidays, a fairytale ending for the magical day.
