Jessica and Brandon’s modern-classic wedding was full of fun, family and meaning. The couple, who have known each other since middle school, rented a private Gulf-front home as the venue for their ceremony and reception. The bride surprised her dad and guests with entertainment before the wedding — a mariachi band to celebrate her father’s Colombian heritage. As the ceremony began, guests stood on balconies overlooking the couple while family stood on the first-floor deck with the wedding party on the boardwalk. As the ceremony ended, guests threw streamers from the balcony that covered the entire sky. Dancing, eating and celebrating ruled the reception, while an ode to Mobile Mardi Gras and the Crewe of Columbus through “Glory Glory Hallelujah” by Elvis Presley provided closure on a love-filled day.
