After a decade together, Mary Potts and Michael were married in a beautiful late-afternoon ceremony at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Friends and family looked on as the couple said their vows and then set off in a trolley to Cotton Hall for the reception. One of the key moments in the couple’s love story was serving on the court of the Mobile Mardi Gras Association, and Cotton Hall was the ideal backdrop for a fun and festive celebration with a touch of Mardi Gras style. Clear skies and cool temperatures made for perfect weather as afternoon transitioned into evening. Guests congratulated the newlyweds and enjoyed food and festivities in the courtyard, complete with string lights and a dance floor to dance the night away. The newlyweds made their grand exit through Alabama shakers and departed on a Stauter Boat Mardi Gras float.
