August 6 – 30: Mobile Bay Magazine Inspiration Home Tour 2026

The Chighizola House • 6 S Franklin St.

10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Thurs. – Sat.; 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. Sun. View this beautifully restored 19th century Greek Revival townhouse in downtown Mobile decorated by a talented team of local interior designers. Tickets: $10, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Goodwill Gulf Coast.

August 7 – 9: The Wizard of Oz

Playhouse in the Park • 4851 Museum Dr.

7:30 p.m. Fri. & Sat., 2:30 p.m. Sun. Playhouse in the Park presents the magical MGM musical adaptation of The Wizard of Oz for one final weekend this month. Tickets: $20.

August 7 – 23: Frozen the Musical

Joe Jefferson Playhouse • 11 S Carlen St.

7:30 p.m. Fri. & Sat., 2 p.m. Sun. For the first time in forever, Joe Jefferson Players brings the tale of Anna, Elsa and the kingdom of Arendelle to life. Tickets range from $20 – $25.

August 8: Family Play Day

Mobile Botanical Gardens • 5151 Museum Dr.

10 a.m. – 12 p.m. The whole family will enjoy art and nature play stations around the Garden, LEGO building, a scavenger hunt and playing in The Cabins & Cottages exhibit playhouses one last time. Play day activities included with general admission.

August 9: Brides Just Wanna Have Fun Bridal Expo

The Admiral Hotel • 251 Government St.

1 p.m. – 4 p.m. Plan your perfect wedding and win prizes at this boutique bridal show. Ticket prices vary.

August 17 – 22: Mobile Tiki Week

Downtown Mobile

Downtown Mobile transforms into a tropical paradise with exotic eats, drinks and events at area restaurants, bars and more. Put on a Hawaiian shirt and come on downtown!

August 20: Gulf Chat: Onstage with Lucy Buffett

National Maritime Museum of the Gulf • 155 S Water St.

12 p.m. Author, entrepreneur and chef Lucy Buffett shares stories from her remarkable life on the Gulf Coast. Event is free. Bring lunch or order from the cafe in advance.

August 20: Mobile Chamber Business Expo 2026

Mobile Convention Center • 1 S Water St.

10 a.m. – 3 p.m. More than 200 exhibitors showcase produces, services, resources and more. Admission: $5 with a business card at the door, free for members, students and military ID.

August 20 – 22: The Loyola Art Show

Crown Hall • 653 St. Louis St.

4 p.m. – 9 p.m. Thurs., 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Fri., 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Sat. This juried fine art event showcases a variety of mediums, styles and price points from talented artists across the Southeast. Ticket prices vary.

August 26: Jack Johnson in Concert
