Through December 31: Magic Christmas in Lights

Bellingrath Gardens and Home • 12401 Bellingrath Gardens Rd., Theodore.
5 p.m. – 9 p.m. The Mobile tradition continues with 3 million lights and 15 holiday scenes. Don’t forget to snag some hot chocolate and a photo with Santa before heading home. Tickets are $16 for adults, $8 for children ages 5 – 12 and free for children 4 and under.

Through January 1: Christmas Nights of Lights

Hank Aaron Stadium • 755 Bolling Brothers Blvd.
5:30 p.m. – 10 p.m. Pack the car with friends and family and enjoy this drive-thru Christmas light show featuring over a million lights synchronized to Christmas music played through your own car stero. Admission is $7 per person. Children 3 and under are free.

December 5: Bay Bash

GulfQuest • 155 S Water St.
6 p.m. – 10 p.m. Mobile Baykeeper’s annual celebration of the Bay area features signature dishes from local restaurants and caterers, cocktails and a silent art auction. Guests will also enjoy music by the Red Clay Strays and a special performance by the Eastern Shore Repertory Theater. Individual tickets are $75, and couple tickets are $125.

December 6: Fairhope Magical Christmas Parade

Downtown Fairhope
7 p.m. More than 60 parade units dazzle the crowd in anticipation of Santa Claus’ arrival.

December 9: Holiday Cheer at FIVE

Five • 609 Dauphin St.
6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. This benefit for the Child Advocacy Center features a wine tasting, samplings of Five’s signature dishes, music by Jerry Squires and a live auction of holiday gifts. Tickets are $35 each.

December 12 – January 5: Mobile Bay Inspiration Home Tour

Van Antwerp Park • 618 Pensacola Ave., Fairhope
10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Thursdays – Saturdays, 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. Sundays. The 2019 Mobile Bay Inspiration Home is a luxury woodland retreat just steps from Mobile Bay and downtown Fairhope. Outfitted with the latest technology and furnishings, the home showcases the best in local architecture and design. Tickets are $10, and proceeds benefit USA Children’s and Women’s Hospital.

December 14 – 15: The Nutcracker

Mobile Civic Center • 401 Civic Center Dr.
2:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m., Sat.; 2:30 p.m. Sun. Christmastime brings the lavish holiday tradition of The Nutcracker, pairing Tchaikovsky’s masterpiece with fresh choreography and international guest artists. Tickets start at $20 for adults and $17.50 for children, seniors and military.

December 19, 22: Classic Christmas Movies at the Saenger 

Saenger Theatre • 6 S Joachim St.
7 p.m. Thurs., 3 p.m. Sun. Watch your favorite holiday films on the big screen with “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” airing on Dec. 19 and “Meet Me in St. Louis” on Dec. 22.

December 21: Charlie Brown Jazz Christmas

Saenger Theatre • 6 S Joachim St.
7 p.m. Get in the holiday spirit with this festive performance of Vince Guaraldi’s “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children 10 and under. A portion of proceeds will benefit Delta Dogs.

December 31: MoonPie Over Mobile

Downtown Mobile
8 p.m. – Midnight.
Close out 2019 with a laser light show, fireworks, live music from Collective Soul and of course, watch the infamous 600 pound electric MoonPie drop at midnight.
