Get into the Carnival spirit with a behind-the-scenes look at the social season at this exhibit presented by the Mobile Museum of Art in partnership with the History Museum of Mobile and the Mobile Carnival Museum. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $6 for students.
Feb. 6 – 8: “Divorce Southern Style”

8 p.m. Fri. – Sat., 2 p.m. Sun. Directed by Jeffrey Williamson, this fast-paced farce centers on the schemes of a middle-aged divorcee who decides the time is ripe to get back together with her ex husband. Tickets range from $10 – $20.
Feb. 7: Mystic Mutts of Revelry
Fairhoper's Community Park • S. Church Street and Morphy Avenue, Fairhope
1 p.m. Let the good times roll with your four-legged friend in this walking Mardi Gras parade for the canine population. This year's theme is “Superheroes to the Rescue.” All proceeds from MMOR will benefit The Haven, Fairhope's no-kill animal shelter.
Feb. 7: Superhero Skedaddle
SGA Pavilion • University of South Alabama
8 a.m. Dress up like a superhero for this 5K and fun run benefiting Goodwill Easter Seals. Stick around after the race for food, drinks and a silent auction.
Feb 7: Battleship RFC vs. Montgomery Yellowhammers
USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park • 2703 Battleship Parkway
1 p.m. Show your support for Mobile's rugby team as they take on the Montgomery Yellowhammers. Bring your own chair and cooler and $2 for parking.
Feb. 15: Joe Cain Classic
Downtown Mobile
8 a.m. Take the Carnival season in stride at the 5K and 1-mile MoonPie Dash benefiting challenged athletes. Don't miss the after party featuring live music, dancing in the street, food, door prizes, awards and a visit from Joe Cain’s Merry Widows.
Feb. 21: Mobile Chocolate Festival
Abba Shrine Center • 7701 Hitt Road
10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Sample all the chocolate you could want, and do it for a good cause. Pick up sweet treats from various local vendors along Chocolate Bliss Way, develop your baking skills at the Mobile Fixture demonstration area, indulge in chocolate martini tastings and enter your designs to Project YumWay. Admission is $3, and proceeds benefit Penelope House.
Feb. 28: Orange Beach Seafood Festival
Orange Beach Sportsplex • 4389 William Silvers Parkway, Orange Beach.
10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Enjoy Alabama seafood while listening to live music, browsing local art and exploring the auto show featuring classic cars, hot rods and newer models. Proceeds benefit the Orange Beach Sports Association, supporting the city’s youth sports activities.
Feb. 28: Chili for Charity
Oak Hollow Farm • 14210 South Greeno Road, Fairhope.
11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. The annual fundraiser will feature live music, children's inflatables, a mechanical bull, a variety of homemade desserts for sale and of course, a chance to sample some of Baldwin County’s best chili. Tickets are $5 for children and $10 for adults. All proceeds benefit the Ecumenical Ministries of Baldwin County, an agency dedicated to providing aid for low income families, the disabled and elderly.
