June 1 – June 21: Gulf Coast Chinese Lantern Festival

Bellingrath Gardensʉۢ 12401 Bellingrath Gardens Rd, Theodore.

5 p.m. – 10 p.m., Thurs. – Sun. Wander through a luminous dreamscape with glowing animals, plants and mythical creatures at this breathtaking display of color and light. Tickets: $26 for adults, $22 for kids and $2 for children 4 and under.

June 4: John Crist

Saenger Theatre • 6 S Joachim St.

6 p.m. doors open, 7 p.m. show. One of the fastest-rising stand-up comedians in the country will perform in the Port City for one night only. Tickets start at $37.

June 5 – 7: FloraBama Fishing Rodeo

Flora-Bama • 17401 Perdido Key Dr.

The “every man’s fishing rodeo” is a three-day Captain’s choice tournament with anglers competing for first, second and third place in 30 categories.

June 6: Children’s Cup Regatta

Fairhope Yacht Club • 101 Volanta Ave., Fairhope

Enjoy family-friendly sailboat racing, a silent auction, dinner and kids activities at this annual event supporting Children’s of Alabama.

June 6: MMoA Makers Market & Open House

Mobile Museum of Art • 4850 Museum Dr.

1 p.m. – 5 p.m. Head to the Mobile Museum of Art for an afternoon of local shopping, live music, food trucks, art activities and free admission to the museum.

Cathedral Square • Downtown Mobile

7:30 a.m. – Noon. Shop fresh produce, seafood, baked goods, art and more from local vendors each Saturday in June.

June 12: Summer Movie in the Park

Fairhoper’s Community Park • 105 S Church St., Fairhope

8 p.m. Grab some lawn chairs and enjoy an evening under the stars with an outdoor screening of the summer classic, The Sandlot. Popcorn will be provided, and there will be a fun giveaway for the kids.

June 13: Lemon Drop Festival

Mardi Gras Park • Downtown Mobile

2 p.m. – 8 p.m. This 21+ event features more than 20 lemon drop martini flavors, music, food trucks, a vendor market and fun. General admission tickets: $45

June 20: GrandMan: Return of the Grand

Fairhope Municipal Pier

7 a.m. After a three-year hiatus, the Grandman returns to Fairhope as an Aquathlon (600-yard swim + four-mile run) that supports Mobile Baykeeper.

June 30: The Princess Concert

Saenger Theatre • 6 S Joachim St.

3:30 p.m. Little ones can sing along to all their favorite songs from FrozenWickedK-Pop Demon HuntersMoana and more. Tickets start at $51.
