June 4: Grandman Triathlon

Fairhope Municipal Pier

7 a.m. Ready for a full-body workout? The Grandman race begins with a 1/3-mile swim in Mobile Bay, followed by an 18-mile bike ride through Fairhope and a 3.1-mile race to the finish line. 

June 4: Kyser Miree Memorial Fishing Tournament

The Wharf • 4830 Main St., Orange Beach.

Anglers will vie for first, second and third place prizes in the categories of red snapper, king mackerel, speckled trout and slot redfish. Proceeds from the tournament benefit the Kyser Miree Scholarship Fund as well as transitional housing and vocational training for a family at Wilmer Hall Children's Home. Tickets are $30 for adults and $20 for ages 12 and under.

June 8: An Evening with Harry Connick Jr.

Saenger Theatre • 6 South Joachim St.

8 p.m. New Orleans native Harry Connick Jr. brings his smooth and soulful sounds to downtown Mobile. 

June 9 – 12: Flora-Bama Fishing Rodeo

Flora-Bama Yacht Club • 17350 Perdido Key Dr.

From catfish to bill fish and everything in between, this “Every Man's” fishing rodeo is designed for anglers who like to have a good time. Anglers will compete for first, second and third place in 38 categories including red snapper. Accompanying the tournament will be a three-day beach party and awards ceremony that will include daily weigh-ins with fish viewing area, live music and food. Tickets are $45 for adults, $25 for kids.

June 10: North Baldwin Chamber Crawfish Bash

Blackburn Park • Bay Minette

5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Kick off summer with crawfish, corn, potatoes, cold beverages, music, kid's activities and fun for the whole family. Tickets are $20. Kids ages 10 and under are admitted free with an adult. 

June 11: Dragon Boat Festival

USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park • 2703 Battleship Pkwy

8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Whether you attend as a spectator or sportsman, partake in a modern version of the Chinese water sport as more than 70 teams race 250 meters in 40-foot long Hong Kong style dragon boats. There will also be food trucks, fashion trucks, a petting zoo, pony rides and much more. Admission is $3 and proceeds benefit local children through the work of the Fuse Project.

June 11: Children's Cup Regatta

Fairhope Yacht Club • 101 Volanta Ave., Fairhope.

9 a.m. – 9 p.m. Sailing enthusiasts are invited to a day of racing fun at this seventh annual event benefiting patients at Children’s of Alabama. Enjoy barbecue, a cash bar,  a silent auction, arts and crafts, kids activities and live music from Doc Rogers and the Rock Dodgers. This year will also feature kayak races for $25 per boat. The entry fee for the sailboat race is $25 – $50. Guests are invited to watch the races free of charge beginning at 12:30 p.m. 

June 16: Keith Urban

The Amphitheater at The Wharf • 23325 Amphitheater Dr., Orange Beach.

7:30 p.m. Catch Keith Urban on his Ripcord World Tour with special guests Brett Eldredge and Maren Morris. Tickets range from $31 – $51. 

June 18: GulfQuest Race to the River

Fort Conde Village

6:30 a.m., registration; 7:30 a.m., 5K begins; 8:30 a.m., Fun Run/Walk begins. Don't miss this inaugural 5K and family fun run benefiting the GulfQuest National Maritime Museum. Post-race activities will include live music and refreshments, including Shrimp and Grits from The Galley.

June 25: 5K Watermelon Run & Family Fun Day

Abba Shrine Center • 7701 Hitt Rd. 

8 a.m., 5K and fun run; 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., family festival. Kick off the day with a 5K Run/Walk and Fun Run for all ages,  followed by a family festival complete with door prizes, a jump house, train rides, children fashion show and more. The day will end with a street party for adults (21 and up) featuring a photo booth, food, door prizes and silent auction. Entry to the festival is $5. Tickets to the street party are $25.
