Margherita pizza at Red or White in Fairhope

MARGHERITA PIZZA AT RED OR WHITE
“I frequent Red or White in Fairhope. I’ve tried many of their wood-fired pizzas, and in my opinion, the Margherita pizza is simply the best one on their menu. The mozzarella, tomato, balsamic vinegar and basil — all very fresh — create a wonderful blend of tangy and salty with each bite. What makes the meal though is the thin, handmade crust. An added bonus is perusing their wine selection beforehand to find a bottle that will compliment your delicious pizza — so many to choose from!” – Mary Shannon Hope, Portfolio Manager and Operations Manager, Leavell Investments

FETTUCCINE ALFREDO AT T MARIE’S RISTORANTE ITALIANO
“If you’re in the mood for Italian, you need to head to T Marie’s Ristorante Italiano. Their fettuccine alfredo is incredible. Made from scratch, the alfredo had a little zest and zing, and something I couldn’t put my finger on, but was just what the doctor ordered. Creamy, tasty and very comforting. I added grilled chicken and a Caesar side salad and had an out-of-this-world lunch that bears repeating…soon!” – Phil Proctor, Musician and Social Studies Teacher, McGill-Toolen Catholic High School

JERK CHICKEN AT JAMAICAN VIBES
“Jamaican Vibes is the real deal, right down to the decor and music. The jerk chicken is scrumptious. I like a double dose of the jerk sauce, on the side and on the chicken. The peas, rice and  cabbage make for a hearty meal, too abundant for a single sitting. The mac and cheese is good too. My mom gets the oxtails and says they are over the moon. My son opts for the mouth-watering beef patties. We are always full and happy.” – Vicki Davis, Circuit Judge, 13th Judicial Circuit, Mobile County

FILET MIGNON AT BISTRO SAINT EMANUEL
“Larry Posner revitalized historic Fort Conde Village over 20 years ago with the Fort Conde Inn as the centerpiece, but the Inn’s growth required a larger kitchen. Enter Bistro Saint Emanuel, a restaurant unique to Mobile. The atmosphere is reminiscent of New Orleans, with great food, excellent service and a beautiful bar similar to Galatoire’s. The filet mignon served with asparagus was excellent; the beef is wet-aged, which enhances its natural flavors, and is topped with a red wine reduction. I recommend you pay The Bistro a visit!” – Jay Weber, Executive Vice President, Baldwin County Executive, ServisFirst Bank
