Cocktail Recipe: Thanksgiving Rum Punch

This cognac, rum and ginger beer concoction will make for a thankful crowd.

Thanksgiving Rum Punch

5 cups cognac
2 1/2 cups rum
juice of 3 limes
juice of 3 lemons
2 1/2 cups sparkling apple cider
5 cups spicy ginger beer
lemon and lime slices, for garnish
sprinkle of freshly grated nutmeg

Combine cognac, rum, juices, cider and ginger beer in a large punch bowl. Add ice to taste, or a large frozen ring of ice to prevent melting. Top with sliced fruit. Serve by the glass with a sprinkle of freshly grated nutmeg on top. Makes 1 gallon
