SMOKED SALMON BAGEL AT SERDA’S COFFEE COMPANY
“Serda’s may primarily be known as a coffee shop, but don’t sleep on their food menu! Their smoked salmon bagel holds a permanent spot on my weekly menu rotation. With cream cheese, purple onions, cucumbers and capers on an everything bagel, it is a favorite late breakfast/early lunch grab! I can’t wait to stop by their newly updated store for my bagel and coffee ice cubes!” – Mary Frances Clarke,
Director of Development, Fuse Project
Serda’s Coffee Company 3 South Royal St. 415-3000

BEEF TENDERLOIN RISOTTO AT SOUTHWOOD KITCHEN
“Southwood Kitchen in Daphne has a beef tenderloin risotto with tiny tomatoes, Parmesan and garlic that is out of this world. One of my favorites for sure. The tenderloin with the risotto reminds me of Sunday dinner with my family. Very rich and filling. We are so lucky to have this little gem of a restaurant on the Eastern Shore.” – Lisa White, Owner, CK Collection

THE HEMINGWAY BOWL AT LAS FLORIDITAS
“First, you’ve gotta find the place (in a basement) and the entry password (online). All part of the fun and flavor of Mobile’s downtown Cuban speakeasy. Once inside, I’d start with the Spanish tapas and its devourable bacon jelly. Then order the Hemingway Bowl as your entree. With barbacoa, black beans, rice, avocado and lime, it’s at once a filling, delicious and affordable main dish. Try the guava flan for a light, creamy finish. Throughout your dinner, sip a Sazerac (or three)… Hemingway himself would approve!” – Sean Dudley, Musician, actor
and attorney

CHOCOLATE CROISSANT AT FAIRHOPE CHOCOLATE
“Chef Jule Roach is one of the best bakers around, and her chocolate croissants at Fairhope Chocolate are amazing. Each one is made from scratch using her homemade butter blocks and filled with European triple chocolate (milk chocolate, dark chocolate and white chocolate). They are simply everything you could ever want. Layered and puffy. Crispy and crunchy. Flaky and crumbly. Buttery and golden brown. Sweet and salty.” – Chace Yamagata,  Founder, Baldwin County Foodies Realtor, Salt Coast Realty
