“Our new favorite spot to take our boat to is the Blind Tiger on the Fairhope Pier. I grew up going to this restaurant location in the 1990s, and I am thrilled I can take my kids. It has an incredible view. We ordered small plates to split, and the BBQ shrimp special was a crowd favorite. I love seafood and the sauce on the shrimp made it something special. They were cooked in a NOLA butter sauce, and thankfully, they gave bread to soak it all up. “Tucked away in the back of The Haberdasher is perhaps the best gastronomic hidden gem in downtown Mobile. The 16-ounce ribeye, with its life-affirming, near-magical maillard sear glistening off the cast iron skillet, is my choice tonight. This to-the-point masterpiece of a dish is drizzled with compound herb butter, and served with a small salad and a hunk of bread.
