The coldest temperatures of the month didn’t dampen Ann Marie and Colin’s wedding day on the Eastern Shore. The bride and her bridesmaids got ready at her parents’ house in Olde Towne Daphne before taking a trolley ride to Christ the King Catholic Church. The bride incorporated family heirlooms into her attire, wearing her grandmother’s pearls, carrying the blue rosary her mother gave her and wearing her cousin’s veil. The wedding Mass also held deep symbolism, with the celebrant being a friend of the couple. Incense perfumed the air and strings harmonized with piano as the bride and groom said their vows, offered flowers to the Virgin Mary and received Communion.

After the Mass, guests proceeded to The Venue, where a warm fireplace adorned with flowers and greenery greeted them. The couple then made their grand entrance led by their band in a secondline, opening the floor in the courtyard to guests, who proceeded to dance the night away.
