A bright and sunny March day ushered in the wedding of Celeste and Franco in Magnolia Springs, a day the bride says was everything she could have dreamed of and more. The Bay-area bride met her groom in Atlanta, and the festivities were intertwined with memories from the couple’s lives, accented by the ones they share together.
White florals decorated the altar of St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, lending a sweet and romantic touch as the bride and groom recited their vows in front of their guests who traveled in from across the country and in the presence of God. Afterwards, the reception at The Oaks at Magnolia Springs was full of memorable moments. The celebration started with a cocktail hour, during which Sunshine, the venue’s resident mini horse, doubled as a bartender and served beers from baskets it carried. After the newlyweds’ entrance via a second line band, the dancing began. As the sun set, candles and string lights brought a warm golden glow to the springtime evening.
Later in the night, the couple cut their four-tier wedding cake and Old Dutch ice cream was served in mini Atlanta Braves helmets, a symbol of the husband and wife’s two cities. The evening ended with the couple’s exit through a flurry of confetti, a celebratory entrance into their new life together.
