Following the wedding ceremony, guests attended a reception at the home of the bride on Fish River. Floral arrangements designed and created by the mother of the bride’s dearest friends were of white hydrangeas, lilies and roses as well as baby’s breath, cattails and greenery. The cake, vanilla with buttercream icing and created by Vickie Young, was topped with one white hydrangea bloom. The natural outdoorsy theme was carried out on the groom’s table, an orange and blue cake to symbolize the couple’s love for Auburn, was disguised by chocolate icing adorned with small pinecones.
The setting of the reception was during a full moon which was outshone by a fireworks show during the introduction of the newly married couple. The band, Grand Revue, had guests dancing the night away under Italian lighting and chandeliers provided by Willow Bridge Lighting. The photobooth, by FaceTime Photo, and late-night cheeseburgers, served by Tyner’s Catering, were a hit among guests.
After a honeymoon to Sandals Grande Antigua Resort, the couple will reside in Fairhope.
