March 22, 2026 // Ceremony and reception at a close friend’s home
Cortnee and Malangelo’s wedding day was a joyous occasion shared with their closest family and friends. The couple both grew up in the same hometown and attended the same school. Years later, they reconnected, discovering a shared love of physical fitness, with the bride owning a gym and the groom coaching high school football. Their wedding day unfolded with more meant-to-be moments.
The couple celebrated their marriage at a close friend’s house, creating an intimate and special setting for the day. The bride and groom had a private first look before the ceremony, also sharing the moment with the bride’s son. The sun streamed through the trees as the bride’s father handed her off to the groom and the couple said their vows on the back lawn outside. After bridal party photos, the celebration continued to the dance floor, where the newlyweds shared a first dance to “At Last” by Etta James, a song that brought tears to both on the first listen.
As the evening went on, the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed drinks, barbecue and wedding cake as well as the groom’s football-themed cake. The guests also left messages for the new Mr. and Mrs. Caldwell on the audio guestbook, giving advice and well-wishes to the happy couple. As the sun set, the celebration continued, and all in attendance made memories to last a lifetime.
