Daisy and Carter were married on a beautiful June Thursday at Little Point Clear in Fairhope. The couple first met during their sophomore year of high school and have been inseparable ever since. The bride wore a strapless dress with boning on the bodice and pearl detailing at the waist. She accessorized with a veil trimmed with pink lace, matching her bridesmaids’ soft pink dresses and the florals that decorated the ceremony and reception.
As the sun shone, guests gathered at the chapel on the Eastern Shore property for the afternoon ceremony, each aisle chair decorated with a pale pink ribbon. The white interior and gold accents in the small chapel created a chic and intimate atmosphere for the ceremony. The high-school sweethearts said their vows and shared their first kiss as the new Mr. and Mrs. Colvin in front of their family and friends.
Lush green and pink florals, floating candles, green toile napkins and gold utensils decorated tables as guests entered the outdoor reception space on the property, greeted by a glass of champagne. After the newlyweds’ entrance, all enjoyed signature cocktails and a sit-down dinner, which featured the bride and groom’s favorite foods, fried rice and sushi. As the sun set and the picturesque summertime wedding celebration came to a close, the newlyweds set off on their new chapter, not just as best friends now but as husband and wife.
