A waterside wedding perfectly fit Emilee and Ben’s special day on the Fourth of July weekend. Shades of blue splashed across the flower arrangements and bridesmaids’ dresses, bringing the coastal theme indoors to the Sacred Heart Chapel ceremony. The reception was held at the groom’s grandmother’s house on Scenic Highway 98, continuing a family holiday weekend tradition. A gentle breeze and the delicate flower arrangements made the July evening light and airy as guests wished the newlyweds well. Buttered lobster tail transitioned to late-night Whataburger chicken biscuits as the night progressed, and guests danced to the sounds of Nashville’s Craig Duncan Band. The happy couple went out with a bang in the form of a glittering fireworks display over the water.
