Sometimes the best love stories begin in the most unexpected places. Emily first saw Caleb walking through Medstar EMS, where she worked. She went to tell a coworker about the cute guy she’d seen. Her coworker pulled up a photo of her brother and asked, “Is this him?” That one conversation led to the couple building a foundation together on laughter, trust and their shared commitment to serving others through their jobs. Their relationship saw many milestones, including Caleb’s promotion to firefighter and flight paramedic and Emily’s advancement in her career as a 911 emergency dispatcher.
On a mild Saturday evening in May, the couple was married at Water’s Edge. The bride wore a tulle and lace gown as she walked down the aisle to meet her groom, flanked by soft pink rose petals and the couple’s gathered guests all in their Sunday best for the charming outdoor ceremony. The couple said their vows, promising each other forever and marking a new chapter in their love story.
After the ceremony, the guests assembled inside, where white drapery and fairy lights gave the reception a romantic ambiance. All enjoyed the couple’s first dance, after which the party gave way to cake and dancing. The bride changed into her second look, a short sequined white dress, and danced with her husband, family and friends for hours. As night settled in, a magical sparkler exit saw the newlyweds off, running hand in hand into their greatest adventure yet as husband and wife.
