Ceremony at St. Francis at the Point
Reception at the bride’s grandparents’ bay house
Genie and Jackson celebrated their marriage with a picturesque bayside celebration in Fairhope. Blue skies and glorious March weather accompanied the special day as guests made their way to St. Francis at the Point. An abundance of sunshine filled the church as the bride processed down the aisle in an all-lace dress with a lace veil, meeting her groom at the altar.
After the high school sweethearts said their vows, all headed to the bride’s grandparents’ bay house, a cherished family home and reception venue for the weekend. Unique touches by Ron Barrett and Tania Radoslovich transformed the bay house to accommodate 300 guests and created a one-of-a-kind setting for the festivities. A coastal feel reigned supreme as blues and greens echoed the water and foliage outside, bringing a little bit of nature into the space. A mix of patterns and furniture pieces made for a cozy atmosphere for all to enjoy.
Lanterns, string lights and candles illuminated the party as hours of lively celebration continued through the night. Guests enjoyed watching the first dances, eating dinner and dancing on the dance floor before the cake cutting and bouquet toss. After the festivities came to an end, the couple made their exit through white shakers to their waiting golf cart, decorated with flowers and a “Just Married” sign.
